Mortgage Consultant
Aurora, Colorado

We are continuing our growth! Come work for one of Colorado's largest Mortgage Companies expanding and adding Loan Officers with multiple State Licensing. We will also help you get the multiple state licensing!

American Financing will provide you with qualified clients using Radio and other marketing mediums. American Financing offers a unique opportunity and your own advertising budget to get you in front of clients.


  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator License in any of the 50 States, multiple state licenses a plus.
  • Some Mortgage Experience Required
  • American Financing will help obtain additional state licensing.

$80k-200k + competitive base salary and bonus

Senior Software Engineer
Aurora, CO

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic person to become the newest member of our growing Technology team at American Financing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing software solutions that help in the automation of company workflow and tasks. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing systems while also playing a big part in developing and architecting new technology for our growing business. We are looking for ideas as well as execution; this team member will participate in all aspects of our development cycle.

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years .Net (C#)
  • Ability to participate in and implement feedback from code reviews
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
  • Firm understanding and experience with designing applications using SOLID design principles and contemporary software design patterns
  • SQL Server and ORM knowledge
  • Database design and management (minimally experience using DML and DDL) experience
  • Strong ability to analyze and design software solutions
  • Experience with JIRA and agile methodologies a plus
  • Good working knowledge of security best practices
  • Experience with Signal-R, WPF, WCF and WWF a plus
  • Participate in the proactive identification of product/systems enhancements which may improve tool appeal, process flow, and overall functionality and performance
  • Work with and influence peer & junior developers
  • Mortgage industry knowledge a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Effective time management and ability to float between multiple projects
  • Great team attitude and able to work comfortably with technical staff as well as business and non-technical individuals
