Trainer - Loan Processor

The Trainer’s main responsibility is to support/train all newly hired Loan Processor’s as well as providing on-going training.  



  • Conduct new-hire specific training for Loan Processors utilizing various training methods to include but no limited to interactive, hand-on and e-learning
  • Creating training materials and ongoing updates as needed
  • Provide new and existing government regulations into relevant training materials to ensure employees are kept up to date
  • Review of new hire files to ensure process and procedures are met
  • Provides coaching and/or feedback to newly hired Loan Processors
  • Consults with Processing Managers by providing feedback on progress of newly hired Loan Processors



  • 4+ years of recent Loan Processing experience
  • 4+ years VA, FHA, Conventional, DU and LP knowledge/experience
  • TRID Knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Understands and uses computer programs and systems for the tracking and processing of loans – LOS and AUS systems
  • Must be experienced in preparing, delivering and maintaining training materials in both a one on one and large group setting
  • 4 Individual must have experience in the mortgage industry, be familiar with lending requirements as well as specific loan program parameters
