Reports to: Payroll Manager/HR Manager

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Assisting the Payroll Manager in all duties related to payroll processing. Assisting the HR Manager in all duties related to onboarding and offboarding.  This is a FT dual role position; Duties in Payroll & Human Resources; will require experience in both fields

 

  • Assisting with Semi-monthly payroll for 300+ employees
  • Processing bonus sheets and reporting
  • Assisting with PTO management, time and attendance maintenance, Employee advances, Termination checks, Maintain Paycom database, update employee raises, terminations, etc
  • Assist with scanning Payroll documents to maintain a paperless environment
  • Reconciliation of benefit deductions against payroll software to monthly carrier invoices

Human Resource Assistant Duties:

  • Run HUD/Sam monthly reports
  • Set up new hire desks
  • Assist in calling candidates for interviews
  • Pull monthly audit reports
  • Upload interview notes to HRIS and any other documents as needed
  • Send out monthly EOM survey and pull report for results via HRIS
  • Order Supplies
  • Data Entry, scanning, filing, and other administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years recent payroll experience
  • Accounting, Benefits and HR knowledge and experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced level experience with MS Excel, including formulas
  • Overall general knowledge in MS Office
  • Experience in Mortgage Lending or related industry, Paycom knowledge preferred
