I recently decided to attempt refinancing my home to take advantage of lower interest rates, and reduce my monthly payments. I was not terribly optimistic as today's real estate market downturn has left me with a challenging loan to value ratio. I had heard ads for years on the radio for American Financing, and after unsuccessful attempts with my current mortgage holder I decided to give them a call. My sales contact Harvey went above & beyond the call of duty, he provided me with far more time than I would expect; I felt that he was in my corner. After a very brief process I was able to combine my first & second mortgage into just a first mortgage, reduce my payment & interest rate significantly. As we are coming up on the holidays, and I am soon to need surgery that will have temporarily effect on my time at work, the reduced payment & the delay of mortgage payment that is typical of a refinance will have a very positive effect on my finances & peace of mind. I would recommend American Financing to friends, family & coworkers. They were quick & attentive. The process was much faster & easier than any of my previous mortgage experience.

Refinancing through American financing was the easiest refinance I have ever done. It was so nice to have them come to my home and work around my schedule. Closing was extremely similar. We closed at my home and did not have to go somewhere to do that. They took the time to go through all of the docs and explained everything about the loan that I should expect. I would highly recommend American Financing to anyone who was looking to refinance.

To Whom it May Concern:

I contacted American Finance via the web on November 11, 2011, about a refi of my existing mortage, with the intent to lower the interest rate and accellerate the payoff. Ed Leon, one of two American Finance reps in Utah, drove out the next day (a Saturday) and worked up some possibilities. I didn't decide on a final strategy until November 18, which required a re-work of the approach on Ed's end. The appraisers came on the 21st, and the appraisal was back in time for closing on the 23rd. At every step, Ed was more than willing to accommodate my "moving target" and make the experience efficient and pleasant. Late in the game I gave him a target for the final costs, based on a prior re-fi several years ago, and he easily beat it. I would recommend American Financing and Ed to anyone looking to get or re-fi a mortgage.

It is with great appreciation and sincere respect for your company that I tell you about one of your greatest assets, Mr. Ed Leon. It was with much trepidation that I finally gathered the courage to call your company, because past experiences with another lending firm turned out to be very disappointing. My trust level was quite low and I perceived all lending institutions were dishonest and uncaring. As a matter of fact, when Mr. Leon answered the call, I promptly told him, 'I don't trust you and I refuse to pay for an appraisal again'.
