General
William Jackson Palmer In
1871, founded the city
of Colorado Springs. His vision was to create a
posh resort community featuring a luxury hotel and
tree-lined boulevards. Thus, the first Antlers Hotel
had begun welcoming guests in 1883.
Nestled
in the shadow of majestic Pikes Peak, the Antlers
soon became the center of the community and the
benchmark for future hotels. Over 100 years later,
the third rendition of our historic ancestor, Antlers
Hilton Colorado Springs still maintains its prominence
as the hotel leader in Colorado Springs.
The
state abounds with excellent attractions. Visit
Pikes Peak with its spectacular scenery and breathtaking
views. Or, take a short drive to the Air Force Academy,
home to over 4,000 cadets, the most visited destination
in Colorado.
Tour
the United States Olympic Complex, home of 20 sports
federations and training center for young athletes.
Right
out the front door is lovely, tree-lined downtown.
Take a leisurely stroll to parks, museums, unique
shops and restaurants, all with a towering backdrop
